RTITB Accredited Flexi/Pivot Steer Forklift – Conversion Course

The RTITB Accredited Flexi/Pivot Steer Conversion Course is designed for certified forklift operators who are already trained on another type of lift truck and want to expand their skills to operate a Flexi or Pivot Steer truck safely and efficiently. This targeted course builds on existing knowledge, allowing operators to gain a new RTITB qualification without completing a full novice programme.

Delivered by experienced RTITB instructors, the course focuses on the key differences between truck types, Flexi/Pivot Steer-specific safety considerations, and practical operation in narrow aisles and confined spaces. Hands-on training ensures learners can confidently manoeuvre, stack, de-stack, and operate in real-world scenarios.

Upon successful completion of theory and practical assessments, candidates receive RTITB Flexi/Pivot Steer accreditation, recognised nationwide and valid for three years.

• Transfer of existing forklift knowledge to Flexi/Pivot Steer operation

• Key safety, stability, and operational differences

• Pre-use inspection training specific to Flexi/Pivot Steer trucks
